RELEASE DATE NEWS:

The Loner Computer Generated series approaches its final 3 episode run.The end begins July 2011:  The 'LONER' series has produced 7 episodes, two short comics, radio play, music videos, computer game and much more.

Season one's journey is coming close to its end, but the Loner journey will continue the story of Darla Kay, Loner and Sa'car and all the characters focused on in the series.

The release of Episode 8 'EYES WIDE SHUT' is imminent. The continued development and hard work of all the Loner creative team has again produced a 20 minute episode that takes us into the darkest regions of Grant's mind. This is perhaps the most character led episode and has a twist that will change the shows focus forever. With the last three episodes now in production, the sadness that I feel is massive as the difficulty and time given to making this independent series has been both trying and fantastic all at the same time.

As the saying goes - 'ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END'. However for Loner story the future will be bright as Comic books will be produced. I SWEAR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The final episodes see all our hero/villain characters begin an emotional trail which tests their loyalties, choices and possible sacrifices. The series was always designed to be character led over action and the last episodes will be a mixture of great heroism and the changing face that occurs when a journey ends and hard choices must be made. This reflects very much the choices I as the creator of this series have had to make in choosing to make a independent series without financial backing or a huge crew behind me and it is with thanks to the fans of this show that have helped in keeping my belief whole that this venture is all worth it.

It is for this reason the final episodes are designed to be exciting, tragic and inspirational so that Darla and Loner can go out with a bang. The response has always been very positive and there is a continued appetite for this series to which we use as inspiration to up our game with the small budget and man power we have available.

We have always been proud to have the show reflect our hard work and put it out there on the web for your enjoyment even with the limitations of our small crew in producing a ten part series all at least 20 minutes long.

Completion of Episodes 9 and 10 are underway and these last episodes are going to be big, action packed and exciting. As well as being defining episodes for our characters and the tone of the show from herein out. The final touches of Guy Avern's superb music and John Pavlakos sound mixing are well underway on episode 9 and Robert James Wright is animating episode 10.

'LONER' has a mandate to be a new independently produced series that can be an exciting and well written show for all sci-fi, action and animation fans to enjoy and really get behind. The future for this show is to gain support and get backing to produce and distribute this show on a bigger scale than what it is now. This we strongly believe will happen with your support and our hard work. So this is where the journey begins with the monthly release of the CG series along with comics, soundtracks, flash games and much more...

LONER has proven itself to be a universal product that has gained a wide and diverse fanbase who are all experiencing storytelling in a new way. From China, Australia, America, Iran, Greece, Sweden, France, Japan; these are just a handful of countries that have already been hitting the LONER website and enjoying the adventure.

SITE UPDATES IN JULY 2011

Loner Episode 8 'EYES WIDE SHUT' gets released on 30th July 2011. New trailer will give insite into the final two cg episodes. Digital short comic will detail a short story about Loner's tracking of a dangerous shadow creature. Exciting times ahead!

GUY AVERN'S LONER REMIX THEME NOW AVAILABLE IN THE SOUNDTRACK SECTION

Guy Avern has remixed the opening Loner theme and all that can be said is: BRING ON THE DRUM AND BASS.

The exciting next episode has been released and features the beginning of a two-part episode that introduces a dangerous new villain and the introduction to the amazing Tech-Knight warriors. As always, Loner and Sa'car feature and a terrible ending occurs for Darla, that could end her life and the battle to save Earth.
